Hadith & tafsirThis surah and An-Nas are the mu'awwidhatayn, the two of refuge. The Prophet's use of them for protection, and the account of the spell of Labid ibn al-A'sam, are recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim; classical commentators, including Ibn Kathir, treat the four harms named in the surah.
